Hi everyone..
I just scheduled my exam awhile ago and finally taking it this September 15, 2008.
I was looking for the September 2008 Support Group and found their is none in existence so i figured to start one.
I am currently on Saunder's 4th Ed. and some other references like, Exam Cram, Illustrated Study Guide for the NCLEX-RN Exam, Prioritization, Delegation Assignment by Linda LaCharity and other Q and A books by Saunder's and Mosby.
But i am focusing more on Saunder's, i just like to have other references to understand topics which i am weak in.
I wasn't a very good student before or wasn't that much focus with my studies while in school. That's why i am very anxious now with my upcoming exam.
Now I am giving my best in my review and hoping and praying that i may pass it on the first try.
I really want and dreampt of becoming an RN and finally i am a test closer to becoming one.
Good Luck to us and God Bless.
yep somtimes i get really bored. what i do when i get bored is read other books or read the thread "anyone.. throw random facts.." something like that.. its on top of the sticky..i like the book of la charity.. prioritization, delegation and assignment! i think its more challenging than saunders..
i cant think of anything on how to make my studying funner..

i guess joining this forum makes everything much easier because i can interact with others like you guys with the same situation like me :wink2:
good luck to us!
I Checked out "...random facts..." fun & interesting
Thanks
i dont have kaplan.. but with saunders im getting 60-70 and some 80 i guess..
im answering LaCharity's book.. and its harder than saunders.. i always get 50's..
everyday i pray really hard for me to pass this exam!
im been studying for 5 months now and i just want to take the exam!!
im so anxious, excited and stress! huhu!
9 more days to go for me!!
I am taking my NCLEX-RN again for the 4th time on September 15, 2008. Wishing everyone excellent luck to all. I will post results; please pray for me.
hi there.. i will surley pray for u and i will also inculde everyone espcially this September Group to Pass the NCLEX!! :)
we can do this!!
I got my ATT earlier this month and scheduled my test for Sept 23rd. I'm studying using the 5 week plan from the NCSBN site www.learningext.com So far, so good though I'm having a hard time with the pharmacological section. So many drugs . I am currently on the medical-surgical section and its broken up into about 8 sub-sections. Its the really BIG section. I do the post tests at the end of each section and miss questions that after I read the rationale I go...huh?
Some of the rationales for a question to me doesn't make sense sometimes.
I have until November 5th to take my exam, so if I still don't feel ready by the 23rd of Sept I can move it. I hope I don't have to though.
I swear I feel like I don't know anything.
Thanks for starting the Sept./08 support group. I'm testing on the 18th for the 3rd time. Using Sauders 4th ed + CD, Kaplan, and www.nclextestanswers.com .I become bored with using just one study guide.
I lose focus.
Does anybody have the same problem? Does anyone know how to make studying funner?
I wish I could get the NCLEX board game, but I have no one to play it with, not locally anyway. That to me would be a fun way to review.
