Pretty Sure i failed today :(

I took my test today and the computer shut off after 75 questions. Thats not why i think i failed. I think i failed because i got a lot of content questions like what to look for in hypokalemia, and stuff like that. I kept getting a bunch of meds and i had no clue what they were and i couln't even begin to take an educated guess. Then i had 5 million select all that apply questions and i always do horrible on those. So i am really bumbed, oh and i got a question on infection control more than once. I did get several priority questions but not enough to make me feel like i passed or to make me feel like i was even in the passing range. I took kaplan that cost me $500 and i studied every day for 5 weeks. I feel stupid and i am going crazy because i have to wait till friday to find out my results. Did/does any one else feel like this that passed????

hi, im a newbie and i just took the nclex last jan9.. i feel the same way that you do,, My exam also shut off at 75 and i had tons of select all that apply type of questions too.. I suck at those.. and the worst part is, i have to wait for 4 long weeks for my results.. i honstly don't know what to do.. I guess Ill just have to keep on praying and trusting God..

omg!! i took the nclex yesterday, and i also feel as though my brain was removed at the door to the testing center. the fact that my friends and family are convinced that i passed doesn't really help, because i feel enormous pressure to pass! i can't even remember exact ?'s---- i just know i had alot of l&d, infection control, some check all that apply, peds. none of the questions really made me feel confident, and the one calculation i got was an i&o. a guy at the ca brn told me that your name will post w/o official transcripts, but they won't release your card. does anyone know if this is true? sorry for the rambling, but i am :barf01:

sorry, your name will not post without transcripts, you will not get an approved license until your file is complete. good luck!!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to thank everyone here so much for their moral support while waiting for the results!!! And by the way...it only took 24 hrs!!!!! I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow..I'm an RN!!!!!! Thanks again, and best of luck to those of you still waiting!

im sure u pass the exam... i have the same feeling as you but u have big chance than me i got 195 questions i think only miracle will help me to pass...he he..good luck to both of us...

I am soooo depressed. I spend so much money for this exam $200 +$150 +$1000[airfare].i feel i did not do justice .i was hoping to get 75 good questions i don,t even know how much questions i got but it is over 100.i finished in about 2 hours.by the way i don,t have any access to quick results how else can i get my results apart from the mail ?I DID MY EXAM ON TUESDAY AND I DID NOT EVEN RECEIVE MY ATT FROM THE MAIL AS YET.So for this side the mail is unreliable

I just want to thank all of you for you support and prayers....i am officially an RN now!! I passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And now i am sure there is no rhyme or resason to the types of questions you get because i didn't get a lot of priority questions and no delegation questions. Good luck to every one else who is waiting.

Your test sounds exactly what I had gotten, I too had 75 questions but felt relaxed after the test which makes me worry. I just took my test yesterday and should be able to view my results tomorrow on quick results. I am soo scared.

Congrats on becoming an RN!!!! I hope to be posting tomorrow that I am an RN.:paw: :roll

wow! its like yall read my mind! i totally understand. i just took the nclex-pn today, at 8am and i am sure i failed. failed, flat on my face, failed. i was confident until i got my first question and then i was like "what the h**l is this! i went through ati and lippencott... it was like i never even studied. i had so many pharm questions it was unbelievable. i am about to pull my hair out! i cant sleep, eat, nothing and i have to work tomorrow. sucks for me cuz i am working as a gvn and everyone is just counting on me to pass along with my rn mom who is just convinced i passed as is my husband.... do these people understand i am losing my mind right now! :chair: seriously, commit me please! i'm in texas and i have the long agonizing wait of 48 hours. i cant even bear to look, my husband is going to do it for me.

it shut off on 86 questions... i am sure i failed. 86 is engraved in my head. what does it mean to shut off on 86! ahhhhh! does anyone know? i am about to call ms cleo maybe she can tell me my future! :p

and in case anyone is wondering my dream is too work psych nursing... takes one to know one :chuckle
