NCSBN Review??

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I have been trying to figure out what to do to study for my 3rd attempt. I was thinking about just getting exam cram but I liked having Kaplan (although I didn't pass) I stumbled upon NCSBN review and I'm considering it. Has anyone used it?? Also should I do it alone or use other books like exam cram, kaplan, saunders ect. I am really looking for any suggestions. I also can't decide if I should wait to get my official letter in the mail before I sign up for something or not?? Everything I've read says the trick works and I got the CC page.

I hope thats not to confusing.

I used saunders, kaplan stategy book and did ncsbn for 10 days. NCSBN looks just like the nclex imo.

I did NCSBN for 3 weeks. I am taking the NCLEX for the 2nd time on Feb 16th. The first time I only used Exam Cram. This time I used NCSBN, Saunders, Kaplan strategy book, and LaCharity priortization and delegation. I love NCSBN, I really think those questions remind me of the NCLEX. This time when I take it I AM PASSING. By the way anyway that is using the Saunders CD what are you scores like? I can't get pass at 74%

My Saunders Qbank score sucks...its between 45-69%....i intend to try them again after mid month n see if im improving after reading the rationales.....

As for me, I'm quite doing well in Saunders (mostly in the 80'S) but I think I need more challenging questions, more like nclex. I'm planning to get the NCSBN since I'm hearing good reviews for it. I'm curious and would want to try it. :)

CONGRATS to all who made it. And God bless to everyone testing soon! I will take my 2nd try on mar 9. =)

I used NCSBN and it really worked for me.

I also used Lippincott questions in the beginning but switched to ncsbn because Lippincott questions were too comprehensive and were not about application of care.

I really liked NCSBN because they also provide you the review sessions which were really helpful to me.

If you are going to purchase NCSBN course, please finish all the question banks that they have.

I bought 3 wk module and finished almost all the questions.

I did at least 150 to 200 questions per day for last 2 weeks before I took NCLEX!

Good with your studying!

i used ncsbn 3 weeks before my exam and nailed nclex with 75questions....

goodluck

i took test on 02-02-2012 ..had 75 questions and got good pop up!!!

i used NCSBN for almost 10-12 days and i can say that they lead us into the nclex track!!!!

i feel the practice questions are NCLEX style may be bit tuffer than real NCLEX

just try to cover the question banks!!! it worked for me!!

Make sure to read the all nurses study guide on the final days....IT really saved me especially on infection control part from which i had a lot of questions!!!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!

Thank you so much for all your opinions! :) I will really get the NCSBN 3 weeks before my test date. I hope it will help me pass my nclex exam as much as it help you all to pass yours. :o
