I am currently on L2 visa which gives me authorization to work in US.My EAD expires in May 2013 and extension process is in progress.i could maintain this status for one more year. I have been working as BSN Rn in Operating room since june 2012.I also hold a Masters degree in Hospital Administration. I recently got a new job offer from a large university teaching hospital for a full time RN position and i am planning to start from May. My question is when is the right time to ask them, whether they sponsor me for H1b or green card. I am confused that if i bring out this visa issue rt now, whether they could withheld my job offer.I Do know that they have the international Division which provides visa assistance to international employees.I also would like to know about my eligibility to apply for H1B in this April. please provide some insight in this topic.. Appreciate all your responses Thanks

hello i graduated from India too and i passed Nclex RN first attempt with 75 questions which was a year ago... The material i used was Saunders 5th edition, LAcharity PDA book and NCSBN online 3 weeks course..i just completed the theory part from saunders first and focused on questions.. Ncsbn was really helpful to me..in b/w which board of nursing u appplied? Gud luck!!!

Yes, ofcourse you can do the questions 24x7 for 3 weeks.they do not have coach/ instructor. just try to do all the questions..it is bit hard.. you may not get good score.. do not concentrate on scores..just do it... Ncsbn questions are really great and it really helped me to pass nclex in first attempt with 75 questions!!!!also just go through all nurses study guide at the end!!!All the Best!!!

I am here in US in L2 visa with EAD. I passed nclex Rn and just got my first job in NJ as Operating room RN(presently in Perdiem position,but they may eventually change into full time). So i would like to have some input regarding the adjustment of my status from L2 to H1 or Green card. Do the hospital can sponsor me for the visa adjustment and what will be the requirements for that? Appreciate your responses Thanks..

Dont be worried!! Just Relax.It is so important especially during the final Days of exam!!1 Just make sure that u read all nurses study guide atleast twice before going to the exam!! Gud Luck!!

Thankz a lot for ur reply!!!!!!came to know some facts about the industry. Besides RN i completed Masters in Hospital Administration and awaiting for the results. I was wondering whether i could have any possibility for getting an entry level job in administrative field Thankz and regards..

Thank God ..i passed NCLEX RN ...its official now...

took test on 2-02-12 and got good popup.. Results are still pending in BON and pearson vue site status says results cannot be made at this timee!!! would someone plz tell me when and how can i aceess the quick results???

i took test on 02-02-2012 ..had 75 questions and got good pop up!!! i used NCSBN for almost 10-12 days and i can say that they lead us into the nclex track!!!! i feel the practice questions are NCLEX style may be bit tuffer than real NCLEX just try to cover the question banks!!! it worked for me!! Make sure to read the all nurses study guide on the final days....IT really saved me especially on infection control part from which i had a lot of questions!!! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!

hii all.. CONGRATS to all !!!!! Happy to write my 1st post.. I am also one among you who took test on 02-02-12!!!for first time.. Had 75 questions and got good pop up!!!! still waiting to know the good news from Quick results.. Study guide from all nurses.com is really awesome!!! Had a lot of questions from infection control part and the link was soo helpful !!!! Hope that GODwill let me hear the great news by tomorrow!!!! THANKS to LORD ALMIGHTY for all his BLESSINGS!!!
