I'm going out on a limb here...

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello everyone!

I really don't like asking these types of questions but I need to try everything... I didn't pass the nclex and I'm super down about it. I don't have money to shell out for another review course but from what I am reading Kaplan seems like it would help me tremendously.. So...

Have you tried NCSBN about $70 for 5 wks. I didnt pass on the first try and am kind of in the same boat financially. NCSBN seems to be very close to the nclex. Most of the students in my class who passed did NCSBN

I have not head of it but I will definitely look into it, thanks!!!

You haven't? NCSBN which is the national council state board of nursing write the nclex.

Well I knew what ncsbn was but didn't know they offered a review

I also bought their review for $50 to access for 3 week. I haven't taken NCLEX so I can't say how good it is, but I'm still doing some review questions there. Their content is OK, kind of broad.

Would you say it's not really worth the money? Like I'm tighter than tight on money. I know $50 isn't a lot buuuuut. It's really something I can't really do.

I think if you have the money and its not much, I think its worth it. Its better than not having access to any other type of questions. Plus they are the ones who make the NCLEX so I would hope that their questions are at least similar. I do like their pharm section a lot. I guess you have 30-45 days before you can test again anyways so maybe look into trying to get it.

Ah! My dad said he would pay for it! That's exciting! I just can't stand asking my parents for any more money. It's just been insane!!!

I messaged you.

If you search for NCLEX groups on Facebook, you'll find TONS of files posted in the various groups. I didn't buy any of my review material because it was all posted in these groups: NCSBN, Kaplan, LaCharity, Saunders...I was able to download files for all of them.

I used the Saunders NCLEX review book and cd practice questions that came with it.
