Just wondering who will take their test this month? How is you're studying going? When do you take your exam? What books do you use? What are you going to focus on in these last few days before your exam? Also if you already took your test and passed please give us advise in our last days. Thank you, blessings!:nurse:

Good Luck!!! Continue to think positive, eat well and get enough of rest. Make sure you know where the testing site is located and try to relax the day before the exam. Dont for get to pray, God hears all prays. Ill be praying for you:)

I take mine in less than two weeks and I am a nervous wreck! I have been studying every day (Saunders, Lippincott, ATI, NCSBN). I take practice tests every day as well. I consider myself pretty well prepared, but the anxiety is through the roof! I wish I would have scheduled the test sooner because I just want to be done!

What have you been doing to prepare? I have been taking around 200 practice questions a day and reviewing overall general need to know things (labs, meds, etc.)

Good luck!

Thank you very much, I pray all the time and I know God here's my prayers. I have a few testimonies about God answering my prayers. I'm practicing 300 questions a day and reviewing the content using Saunders, Incredibly made easy, Lacharity and Kaplan. The only thing I have not reviewed yet is the math, fundamentals, and culture. Also don't let your nerves get to you, at one point I started freaky out and my husband say's oh no you're not, go pray. I prayed and the holy spirit gave me a few scriptures from the bible, one of them was (PETER 5:7) Cast all your anxiety on to me, for I care for you. That scripture brought me right back, because God is in control of everything, and we don't have to worry if you just give your worries to God. God will take care of you, he is with and never leave us. If you pray and fast he will be with you while you're taking your exam, calming your nerves. Good luck and blessings! :)

i take mine this saturday the 22nd.... i graduated LAST MAY lol, yes 8 months ago... so i'm getting a little nervous. i usually have alot of confidence in my knowledge base, but reading about so many people that are smart but failed, worrying me a bit.

anyway, i started yesterday with the saunders study mode. hoping to do it every night this week after work - maybe i can get to 1500 or 2000 by testing day.

Good luck to you and i will check back to see how you did and update about mine!

I graduated 1 year ago, and it's a lot of things I forgot. I had to review content again, and listen to review audios. I'm also doing the Saunders in study mode, and after I do that I do questions from Incredibly made easy and Lacharity. I wish you blessings, you will pass if you keep faith.

sheila0313 thanks so much for the scripture peter 5:7. i needed it :). i take mine feb 5th. ive been doing sauders and ncsb. i don't have lacharity, hopefully i can go to boarders and b&n to use it if they have it. the nclex is another opportunity to show how our faithfulness in god. i had a job interview this month and got the job. i start feb 22 so i have to pass my nclex on feb 5th. a scripture that i read before and during my interview was 2 samuel 7:28 (and now, o lord god, you are god, and your words are true, and you have promised this good thing to your servant.)..

well back to study questions :)

I take mine this Friday the 21st! I was starting to get some anxiety over it and then I remembered "He holds the universe" and I was like..Wow..A little test is nothing compared to that! With the way God has led me into this profession:making it possible to get in and finish, I don't think He'd bring me this far and then have me fail NCLEX. I've been studying Exam Cram and also doing practice questions with NCLEX 3500 (especially alternate-item questions) and Kaplan reveiw book. The biggest thing I think is to read the question carefully and take your time! Good luck to all who are taking it soon.

cuperctar1, Thank you for (2 Samuel 7:28), I do know that by my obedience to the word of the Lord, God promise is to bless us. We are blessed, praise God!

I take mine in 4 days! I am studying but I am still very nervous. I am using Saunders only to study I have only been through about 1/3rd of the book so far but hope to have completed about 75% of it (in terms of content) and I will have answered all the questions in the book and some on the ones from the CD. I have been studying for the past two weeks very hard but I'm scared I'm spending too much time in each chapter and that is why it's taking me so long to get through this book. I feel like I'm teaching myself everything over again. Things I feel good about are lab values, math problems, delegation, and priorities. Things I do not feel prepared for are SATA and pharm questions. Any advice for me?

Also to other test takers just try to relax (anxiety can ruin all your hard work on test day so just remember by staying calm you are already one step ahead plus no matter how nervous you are how is that going to help? You are there, you are going to take the test, you are not going to leave, and no matter what you do you are going to know what you know so no point in anxiety) make sure you drive to the test site in advance so there is no added stress there come test day.

Good luck to everyone! Kaci

p.s. If I go through all the questions in a chapter I usually get 6 out of 10 right if I haven't read the chapter and only like 7 or 8 out of 10 if I have read the chapter. Is that awful?

I JUST WANT TO WISH EVERYONE GOOD LUCK. YOU WORKED REALLY HARD TO GET TO THIS POINT AND YOU SHOULD BE VERY PROUD OF YOURSELVES! I AM PERSONALLY A NERVOUS WRECK I TAKE THE TEST IN 8 HOURS AND I CANT SLEEP!!!!!
