question about Saunders NCLEX book
I bought both...Ed. 4 & Ed. 5...I was afraid they were different or had newer questions. There really isn't much difference between the two. In Ed. 5, there are some new charts in the chapters and of course newer question formats (watching a video, listening to sounds, etc.) but most of the questions are the same exact questions from Ed. 4. So, it really isn't important to buy the newer version. Also, when I studied I found it helpful to use many different resources to take practice questions from. I used ATI, Lippincott, Saunders, Kaplan, NCSBN and my friend had Exam Cram. You don't have to buy all of these, but go to a book store and take some practice questions from a different text. It helped me to feel more comfortable on test day knowing that I had experience with a lot of different questions.

Pearson Vue Trick - Does it Work Every Time? Part 2
Hello, I took it Friday and about an hour after I got home I tried the trick and got the good pop up. I am pretty certain that it still works and that we both passed! Think positive and just check early next week to do quick results or find your license #. And if need be, (like me), feel free to try the trick again just to make sure the pop up is still there. It makes me feel better! Good luck to you!

NCLEX Friday
Hey everybody, My test is scheduled for Jan 28th. Yep...less than 48 hours from now. This has been a long and difficult journey. Stressful at times...rewarding at others. Lots of tears and lots of work. I am a bit of a perfectionist and have worked very hard for this. I know in my heart I could not have prepared more than I have and I truly feel that I am ready. The anxiety this week has been incredible. Unfortunately, none of my calming techniques have worked very well. I am hanging in there and ready for it! Also, can I say that this week has been the slowest week of my life?! I just want to get this flippin test over with!!!! I just wanted to post this because I need support right now. Thanks :redbeathe

Moved NCLEX up by 6 days
Just keep studying! I left myself 4 weeks to study. Into my 3rd week I felt ready to take it. I wish I would have moved mine up, but it is this Friday. :) Good luck!!!

Which study method is the best?!
I take mine on the 28th. I reviewed for a few weeks, but now work on practice questions opposed to reviewing. My scores are about the same as yours. The advice I have been seeing is...don't worry about scores. However, if you are anyways (like me, lol), I hear that those percentages are pretty average. That is what I am getting. I have been taking practice questions from many different sources just to get a good variety. Good luck and hang in there!

10 days Nclex countdown
I take mine in less than two weeks and I am a nervous wreck! I have been studying every day (Saunders, Lippincott, ATI, NCSBN). I take practice tests every day as well. I consider myself pretty well prepared, but the anxiety is through the roof! I wish I would have scheduled the test sooner because I just want to be done! What have you been doing to prepare? I have been taking around 200 practice questions a day and reviewing overall general need to know things (labs, meds, etc.) Good luck!

Just got ATT-gonna hurl!
I know how you feel as well! I have never checked my email sooo much in my life waiting for that ATT!!! Once I got it, I could barely type I was shaking so bad. I thought I was going to have a panic attack! However, once I scheduled it and calmed down...it really gave me the drive to start studying and stay focused! Good luck to you!

MedTech College
I recently graduated from MedTech. I do not have any regrets going there. I feel I am ready to take my boards soon and that I am ready to be a nurse. Going to school is what you make of it and if you do not work hard, then that shouldn't reflect poorly on the school- it would reflect poorly on the person.
