Does anyone know if they will email or call? Or do I need to keep stalking the site to check? I really want to know!!! I only applied to MD, so hopefully I get in! Otherwise I will continue working.....
Exactly the same situation for me as well, DziokRE...If I get in, that is awesome, if not, I'll keep working and probably forget about going back for the BSN. Every other program, I would need to take even more classes! For someone with a previous B.S. and a ADN...I don't feel I should have to pay X amount of dollars for some other school's specific requirements that have nothing to do with nursing. This program is the one shot. If it was meant to be, it will be : ) There's my two cents.
Sorry I don't know if they'll call or e-mail. I'll be stalking the website

They will send a letter letting you know. From people that have been accepted in the past I have been told that it is a "thin" letter no matter what the decision is. It is my understanding that the site will have it posted before the letter comes in the mail.
I really want to know!!!
lol - we all do! Best of luck to everyone!!!!

I am bad at waiting..... ugh!!! Has anyone heard anything?
I was also wondering if any of you will be working part-time or not. Also, do you know what the class schedule will be like?

I know that they have the schedule available for the spring term on UMB website (look for class schedules). Your schedule depends on what campus your attending (Shady Grove or Baltimore). I know that Shady Grove has and evening Pathopharm class twice a week from 5:30 -7:30. I hope that helps. Again I am waiting patiently to hear back. A little worried even though I heard that it is better to apply for the spring than the fall. We shall see. Good Luck.

1. Click on class schedule
2. Select Spring 2011
3. Scroll down to NURS - Nursing in the subject box and click enter
First semester classes are:
NURS 304/505 - Intro to Professional Nursing Practice
NURS 315/501 - Pathopharmacology
NURS 333/503 - Health Assessment
If you are a BSN student you will also be taking NURS 320 - Science and Research for Nursing Practice

Hope you all hear back soon!
Thanks sewnew!!! Very helpful!!
Sandi - Mine has been like that for at least a month or so. But I submitted in July/August, so that may be why.

Hi everyone! We should be hearing our much anticipated results within the next 2 weeks! When I looked back at last year's thread, it seemed as though many applicants did not get results until after November 15th. Hopefully we will hear sooner :) Towson University has already sent acceptance/rejection letters and the $200 nonrefundable deposit is due by November 15. I find that the close proximity of the dates is causing me stress. Starving college students don't usually have an extra $200 laying around. ...... Happy waiting!

I am still waiting to hear from UMB. My on line status is still "committee ready". Has anyone heard from them?
