If you will be attending the Shady Grove campus, Pathopharm, which you take your first semester, meets 5 to 7:30 on Monday and Tuesday nights. That is the only class you will have to take at night. If you will be a Baltimore student, you will take that class all day on Fridays. If you are a full time student, you need to be able to dedicate 50 to 60 hours a week to school. That includes lectures, study, labs, open labs, and projects/papers. If you can spend any time studying while you are working, that will help. After your first semester you will be spending two days a week in clinicals and the schedules vary. They could be 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, 7 am to 7 pm, we have even had a 3 pm to 11 pm clinical. It was at Walter Reed and even though the schedule was awful, the students had an amazing experience and no regrets. Feel free to private message me and I will give you my phone number in case you would like to chat about all this.
Hi Everyone,
I am new to this thread and just wanted to know if anyone has heard anything as of yet. I read over some of the posts for the spring 2010 class and they did not hear until November 20th or 21st. I also applied to Montgomery College as my back up school. I did get in to Montgomery college and I am going through the motions until I hear from UMB. I wish everyone good luck and hope to hear something soon.
thanks.
