Hey All --
This is my first post but I just got the call that I am accepted for Fall 2012!!
congrats!! are you from the Baltimore area?? if anyone has advice on what neighborhoods to look at, not too expensive and decently safe, that would be amazing!
I am not from the Baltimore area. I am from upstate NY but currently live in Boston. I am graduating from Northeastern this May. I know there was someone who posted on areas to look at for housing on the summer board. :)

So I got a letter today that said I wasn't accepted. I'm fine with the decision. I actually had a strong feeling that I wouldn't, mostly because things have been going as well as they could in my current career lately. I don't know, I have a strong feeling about fate/coincidences, if that makes any sense.
It will give me more time to save up more money and also give me a chance to apply to University of Maryland. I'm also looking into some volunteer opportunities as well. I had gotten some initial feedback on my application that indicated that there was concern that I hadn't done A&P and my undergraduate GPA was sub-3.0 but I have a MS with a 3.9 GPA as well as 4.0 in my pre-reqs.

Hmm I still haven't heard anything. No call or letter. I'm hoping they will be making more calls next week!

Hi all! I must admit, I've been lurking for a while and finally felt the need to create an account. I got the call yesterday that I've been accepted for the ABSN-MSN (Peds)! It was quite a shock, I never really thought I'd been admitted to Hopkins.
That being said, I'm on the fence about Hopkins. Does anyone know when they require a deposit? I was planning on the April 20th accepted students day, but I might visit before then if they require a deposit before then. Hopkins is still the first school I've heard back from and I still have a couple more schools to interview with. I've lived in Illinois all my life, but I went to college in a Baltimore suburb, so I'm not completely unfamiliar with the area.

Today the 26th of Feb., I received an email with an acceptance letter in the Accelerated BSN for the fall 2012. I was actually surprised since I was expecting interview and never thought an acceptance letter before interview.
The admission is provisional pending completion of prerequisite courses with a grade of B or above on a 4.00 grading scale. The letter also asks I provide $500 to hold a place in for the fall 2012 entry. Accepted students day is scheduled to take place on March 2, or April 20, 2012. Any one who received such a letter?
Interesting that you didn't need an interview gwin2015! Congratulations!
gwin2015, did you apply to the ABSN program or the ABSN-MSN program? I was under the impression that only the joint MSN programs conduct interviews. Nonetheless, congrats!!
Deposit is due May 1st
