Johns Hopkins Fall Entry Accelerated BSN (2012)

I applied for the early acceptance BSN for the fall 2012 cohort. Has anyone else applied early acceptance and heard back yet? I am anxiously awaiting their decision!

I'm thinking March. I figure it is before the second accepted student's day and possibly before the first one.

Hi! I will be attending this fall!! Im also planning to attend the April 20th accepted students day. please stay in touch :)

I know we have some time to figure things out such as financial aid, housing, etc. Hopefully this event and staying in touch with those who are going will help.

If you applied to the BSN-MSN program, there is an interview. I asked at my interview when we would hear and I was told end of February/early March.

I interviewed 2 weeks ago. It sounds like the Summer entry people are getting notified so I'm hoping we will get notified shortly afterwards.

There are a lot of responses on the summer entry page for the accelerated program in JHU. I'm applying for the fall entry. I know of one person who graduated from JHU with her masters. She said the program is very good.

I also noticed that Summer entry applicants are being notified, so we should be hearing from them soon. I interviewed 3 weeks ago, but I don't think that should make a big difference. Maybe they will be notifying us towards the end of this month.

Yeah, the summer board is pretty busy. Not too many people on this one! :( I'd love to get to know some people a little bit before heading there.

Just checking in to see how everyone is doing.

I'm taking A&P 1 right now (A&P 2 will be done summer session 1). I just got my lab and lecture test back and I rocked both of those. Obviously premature but I think the first exam sets the foundation for the rest of the semester and I'm confident I'll get an A in the class.

I noticed not all of the summer entry people have received information on being accepted/rejected. I hope this doesn't mean that they are running behind.

So how are your classes? Your applications to other schools?

It's my first time posting on this board but I just received a call regarding my acceptance into the Fall ABSN program! Has anyone else heard who didn't apple early decision? Congrats to all who have already been accepted! I'm about 90% sure I'm going to JHU but am still waiting on two other local schools as I'm from Oregon and it's a long move to the east coast!

What date did you apply!? I think all my paperwork was on the Jan 16th (transcript and recommendation issue).
