Ok..Im in California and just signed up with TCN. I have read the thread over and over..It mentions excelsior college(former regeants college), but TCN says its not affiliated with them. So Excelsior is a real online college? Are you supposed to just go through them? Why are they cheaper? Do they accept people in California? As far as clepping out of the courses..Isn't there a limit to how many classes you can clep out of? TCN says I have 9 courses to take before I get to phase 2 courses.
Can someone tell me the process? How to get into indiana state for the step up to RN BSN with out TCN?

Call ISU directly. They will direct you. The numbers are:

    1-800-GO-TO-ISU | 1-800-742-0891

And from what I understand CA doesn't take Excelsior, although they are an actual degree granting school. But I think they DO take ISU. However..you do not need TCN to use ISU or Excelsior. You have to be accepted into ISU's nursing program just like any other nursing program..and then you test out wherever they tell you too and get your degree through them with the materials they recommend. Usually cheaper to go this route than to spend extra on TCN. I would cancel TCN RIGHT NOW if it hasn't been three days yet...investigate the matter...THEN decide.

I few of us here are working on it but I'm not sure if allnurses has any grads from there. The distance BSN is still pretty new.

Hey Yall...I just looked on Amazon and they ALSO have College Network Modules. Large selection. More expensive than eBay but still really cheap compared to TCN. Make sure you put "the College Network" in quotes when you search it. Maybe this link will work.

Did you find an online program yet? If so, have you started? Are you going fromLPN to RN or just to RN?

I am going back to local community college, I start in Aug. I'm doing LPN to RN. On line classes did not work for me.
