  1. Hi tay777, You must be reading my mind. The same thing applies to me too. I graduated with my BSN from UTA also and felt it was easier to go with those I know. At the same time like you, I am thinking about the time frame being just so long compared with other 2 year programs too. Another problem I am having is the fact that I like the one class at a time and I don't want to jumble to many classes at the same time because we know how that BSN program was.....so what other program are you looking at other that UTA? I am due to start on the 9th of April but I am thinking about deferring my start date to look for a 2year program. I have attended so many schools and I just wanted to maintain consistency by going with a reputable school.
  2. I just got accepted into the UTA FNP program and I an to start on May 9th, is anyone starting then or has anyone finished the NURS 5327 class that can help with any advise or caution? And would anyone like to pass their books forward to me? Thanks ahead of time.
  3. Hi Melissa, I just wanted to say that I totally agree with you....health assessment was so hard but I made that class by the grace of GOD. The worse of all classes for me at UTA was research...it seemed like no matter how hard I tried research was just going to not let me have an A in that class...both the test and the article critiques were so difficult for me. I am glad that class is over with....Are you done with your capstone now? how was it?
  4. I have just dropped my N3315 Health Assessment class at UTA because the teacher sent me a msg saying that I was at risk for failing the class. I didn't think I was doing so badly since my weighted total was at 78 but with today being the last day to drop. I only had seconds to make the decision weather to drop or remain in the class and I didn't want to drop my GPA so I ended up dropping the class. Can anyone help me with this class please? I had a hard time with the quizzes and I will be taking the class again beginning the end of this month. Please help

I have paid for two of the exams already but didn't receive anything but a go ahead to test with my proctor. I am still studying though for Nursing care of Adults and child and family. O by the way...I used to could see my grades before I called to have my admission changed to fall 2012 since I did not complete the challenge exams before the Nov 1st deadline and now I can't even see my grade. I am not sure if since I now deffered my admission if I would be able to test. Any clue about what I should do here? O...I am also in California and in the Fresno area...do you know anyone also in the program in this area? I am trying to find a partner now especially before the clinical areas.

  14. Lady in scrubs; Thanks for your posting. I am rejuvinated again having read almost all your threads. I am currently registered for the ISU program and in fact, I have completed one of the four exams in phase II. I was in a hurry to complete the exams that I rushed through the Nursing care of Adults and failed it the first time I took it and then I got discouraged. I am encouraged again by your writings and the fact that you are so far gone into the program...I can't wait to get to transitions...do you have any tips as to how you were able to complete the four phase II exams? and how fast were you able to finsh them? Any study tips for these exams? and do you know anyone in the Fresno, CA area working on this program?
  15. Are you still working on this program or have you finished. ...I am working on Nursing care and family and was hoping you could give me any advise..
