Thank you! V.E.E.B pn program, in long island. The program is only 10 months, but very intense. Hope I do well.

I'll have to look into that one!

I'm sure you'll do just fine! :)

CONGRATULATIONS!!! :) :balloons:

I am SO envious! I am still waiting to hear if I am in to the LPN program I applied to! Mine sounds like yours...starts in Sept. & runs 9 months. SO much work ahead, but isn't it exciting?

Again, congratulations! I am so happy for you!

Good luck, hopefully you'll hear something soon. The excitement hasn't really kicked in yet. I had my physical today and my orientation is on Wednesday. We'll see how I feel after Wed. Thanks

way to go! good luck as my instructors say it is going to be a flying fast trip, so sit back, strap in and hold on. I know you can do it. When all the chips are down and you are ready to quit, just remember that he has never brought you to anything that he cannot bring you through!

Hi Michelle,

I don't attend concord now, but I am going to attend. I have tried to get information about concorde from this site and I have only gotten one response. One person posted that she had a bad instructor and transferred to another school. I have read some posts that say it is not worth it when you can always go to a community college that costs less. Well, that is easier said than done. With Concorde there is no waiting list and no pre-reqs. You basically take the entrance exam, interview, and pay to reserve your spot. I am going to go there because I want to be a nurse and I don't want to wait. In this world we pay for convenience. The outcome will be the same either way. You just have to decide if you want to wait 3 years (2 for the waiting list and 1 for the program) to become a nurse, or do you want to be a nurse a year from now. It is a tough decision. Have you met with anyone at Concorde? I am meeting with them Tuesday. Oh yeah, I'm in the Dallas area.

:p
