just wondering how everyone celebrated lpn school completion. mine is 4 weeks from now and so excited......thanks in advance

I finished up in December of last year. After graduation, my family went to my fav place to eat and relax.

Congrats for all the hard work you put into your education...may it all pay off for you in the very near days to come..

We out to dinner with my mother and husband. I was so glad to be done.. Congrats!

I did not attend my graduation ceremony, and I did not do anything in particular to celebrate the completion of the LVN program. It's water under the bridge.

Day of graduation, went out to eat with my bestfriend, parents, and my boyfriend. Two weeks after graduation I went to Vegas for a weekend with my boyfriend to decompress and celebrate! It was just what I needed...to be able to relax and eat lots of good food. When I came back home, my ATI had arrived. I set up my NCLEX date for October 4, 2011. Spent three weeks reviewing and found out that I passed the very next day. WOOHOO!!

Good luck! Happy studying!! And congrats!!

I didnt do graduation either or have any celebration. Sleeping in was my gift to myself. Right now Im focusing on taking the NCLEX soon and when I pass that and get a license I will feel more like celebrating.

My mother, brother, and I spent a week in southern California. It was great to be able to relax, and I can relax even more now that I have passed boards. I start orientation for my new job next week! :D

I celebrated by not thinking of nursing or opening a book and doing something different for four months:-)

sounds great. i know that the true celebration comes after passing nclex but completing school is an accomplishment on its own and deserves a celebration of some sort. decompressing is the perfect word for what i have in mind once im done. may go to the baltimore harbor or take a few paid days off to take a road trip with my family....so many plans and ideas at the thought of what i will do

This might sound bad but I burned my clinical/graduation whites:flamesonb. I thought they were antequated and made us look like fools, nobody wheres them anymore. And the clothes dont make the nurse it the heart and caring spirit.
