I had to move to North Carolina to get one but it finally happened. I start orientation next week. Now the anxiety of job searching has been replaced by new job jitters. Okay, deep breath!

Good luck! i just graduated, got my first nursing job, and am happy I have a job with the market being what it is lately!!! So i know all to well what the new job jitters feel like!!! Congrats! Did you move far? I'm 2 hours from home, might as well be 24 sometimes, but it's a new beginning nontheless:yeah:
Good luck with your job, too, Scorpio. I moved from CA and I'm currently staying with my brother until I find a place.

Sensoria17, Congratulations on your new job! I also live in NC and have been having a hard time finding a job. Where in NC do you live? I am in Fayetteville.
I'm in the Piedmont Triad area but the position (SNF facility) is about 45 minutes away. I don't know if you want LTC at all, but when I was looking, several facilities in Fayetteville were hiring.

Congratulations! I live in the Raleigh area and most LPN jobs are in LTC. So happy things worked out for you.
