Does anyone like their uniform? I find my uniform top to be one of the most uncomfortable and unflattering things ever made.

Seriously I look like a love seat in the thing.

For those of you who are wearing all White, I wish you well and I cannot even begin to imagine your pain. I actually like our uniforms compared to the uniforms of the other schools in the Philadelphia area. Our pants are Navy Blue with a White A-Line Button Down Scrub top with the school seal on the right arm. We also have really cool White Lab Coats. White shoes are required, I just bought two pair of Dansko Professional in White.

all white, with lovely white CLOGS eeeek!

I'm currently hoping I can buy danskos! My feet will surely thank me! I love my black ones.

I have a question: how Many sets of scrubs did you guys purchase? And did you take an extra set to clinical with you?

Right now I am very thankful I don't have to wear a vest! Eeek! I will suck up the all white!

I am not a fan of our uniforms. They consist of white, V-neck, tunic tops with navy blue trim on sleeves and school patch on the arm, navy drawstring pants (or super long skirt) and all white, no logo, all leather, no mesh, no clog-style shoes. We must also purchase a white, 3/4 length lab coat with the school patch on the arm, which must be worn over uniforms if we wear our uniforms to and from clinical sites (but we are not to wear lab coats in clinical settings, and we are not to wear our uniforms to campus before or after clinical). We have to buy our uniforms and lab coat from a specific website, whose women's size measurement chart for unisex uniforms is WAY off -- I'm in a top four sizes larger than I wear in real life! The uniforms are supposedly made of some great, fluid-repellant, wonder-fabric that is really stiff and uncomfortable. We also have jewelry, hair, tattoo, make-up, socks, underwear, undershirt, etc. requirements. I am really looking forward to the day I get to wear regular scrubs -- if they are comfy, I will not complain about the color (as long as they are not white)!

Actually with "size inflation/deflation" in the real world, the size top you required is probably more nearly "true" to size. 36" bust should be a size 14.

I'm still waiting on an acceptance letter, but I have had to wear scrubs in the past for work and they are so much better than my current uniform. I'm a paramedic and we have to wear polyester uniform pants and class A shirts (think police officer). Right now we're wearing summer shirts, but they aren't any better as they are also polyester. :-/ Scrubs are looking darn good to me right now! LOL

I'm surprised so many of the programs require full white uniforms. Besides seeming dated, one false move in the lab and you'll have to replace your scrubs.

My school requires royal blue scrubs with our school logo on the tops and white leather shoes. The scrub tops aren't too bad, and they actually have different tops for men and women... none of that unisex sizing that's oh so flattering. ;) The bottoms were hilarious though. They are the super ugly straight leg scrubs with the creasing down the leg. Since they're just Landau scrubs, I went online and ordered myself some different pants in the same royal blue color.

We also have the same rules about jewelry (one pair of studs only and nothing besides a wedding band) and hair has to be put up and can't fall in the face... so headbands galore for me.

Ours are all white Cherokee brand.

This is the top:http://www.allheart.com/ck2878.html

The school patch must be sewn onto the left sleeve. The bottoms are also Cherokee brand with the elastic waistband. All white professional shoes, no sneakers or crocs.

I hate ours. We have weird uniform pants that are completely unflattering.

Who puts a seem in the front of pants, and why turquoise? So we can draw more attention to the hideousness? Our top is just a plain white scrub top, at least.

I got the great news that we can wear whatever brand/style of scrubs we want, as long as the bottoms are turquoise and our top is white! Thank goodness...no weird front pleat :)

We have very old fashion solid white scrub pants, and white tunic, and white lab coat....let just say they are very translucent...haha

Ours are all white too. White pants, white fitted tunic type button up top that has pinstripes down each side of the shirt (also white) and a white scrub coat with the school name embroidered on it. I bought white danskos to go with it. I'm going to be buying my local victorias secret out of nude bras and panties. I must say that even though it's all white and not very fashionable, I think i will be excited to finally get to wear it since that means I'll finally be starting school!!!
