if my high school transcripts had been reviewed l wouldn't be considered Perdue material either......in fact l probably would have been considered a potenetia beauty school drop-out.....but l did great in nursing school...scholarships and awards....made it to President's list...you got what it takes if you have the drive......good luck!....LR
Hey, congratulations.
On the other hand, I have to feel sorry for you being at Purdue. I went to school there in the '70s (not nursing) and .... oh man..... ewwwwww
It's a great school to be FROM, that's for sure. Are you from around there to begin with? I guess if you're used to that much COLD in one place, maybe it'll be easier for you than it was for me.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Love
Dennie
thanks to all
Nurse Denny I will be attending Purdue North Central and yes I have lived in this area most of my life
I hate the cold and the snow but school is just a few farms away lol
I live in boonieville this is a branch of the school and it is in the middle of cornfields
the only worry I have in the line of traffic is if the deer are in the road
that is the only reason why I love it here
that and everyone waves and I have no neighbors :chuckle

but I am better now.I told all of you that I applied and was accepted.
Well after they got my high school transcripts from 1986 they sent me a letter informing me that I was not Purdue material.
So I cried and cried ,then I get a letter with my classes and a bill.So I called my advisor and she said that I would have to enter as a non degree seeking student and pay for all of school out of my own posket for the first two years
Well my adivisor called today and told me she went infront of the admissions board to bat for me and I am a prenursing student as of this spring yeah:)
