Wage for STNA or CNA

I am a Staff Development Coordinator for a LTC building. I would like some feed back as to what the starting wage for a New STNA is, and does your building offer shift diffs?

STNA is another term for CNAs, I believe, specific to a couple states but used nowhere else.

State Tested Nurses Aid. Ohio LTC facilities vary greatly. My facility starts at $10.50. More with experience. Some start as low as $8.15.

In Tennessee it is 9.00 and I am a CNA have been for about 9 years and I just hit 11.00 horrible pay for CNA'S that's why I'm praying to get back in school

I made $12 in LTC and hospital (without differentials) in Nevada and $10-12 in home care.

Why does a CNA make so little money. That job is not easy. You could literally make more working fast food. Something needs to change about that.
