Is this situation acceptable to you?

Hello,

I am leaving CNA job because of the situation I will describe below. It is not acceptable to me. Is it acceptable to you? Am I too weak? Am I too strict?

1. In my facility, there are two sides of the hall (Side 1 and Side 2). One CNA each side of the hall, 1 CMA, 1 LVN. My coworker (CNA) is late for most of the time. Most of the times she is late for 10 to 15 mins, sometimes she is 45 mins to 1 hour late. For those times, I need to watch both sides. After she get in, she never apologizes and explains why she is late. The manager doesn't say a word to her, it is obvious she doesn't need to apologize to me.

2. The LVN is annoyed when I report changes of the status of residents, ask her to cover the skin tear/wound, or anything medical related. I am just reporting and asking her about the residents, and she gets defensive implying that "I am busy, I am doing something". I just want her to acknowledge me and tell me "I will check". She keeps complaining that she is busy and no time, where she does some nursing-unrelated stuffs (I.e. fixing refrigerator, showing her art works she made, or some type of maintenance work, even tho we have maintenance team).

Those incidents made me feel like they do not respect me and my time. I cannot stand it. Am I too strict? Is CNA job so suck that I need to accept it? What is your opinion?
