Your nursing school should be able to count as the CNA course and there is a test in most states. The one I did was written and practical. First semester nursing school counted as the CNA program

You are correct. Some retail pays more as well. CNA staff do it because they care not for the pay.

Kaplan has a review refresher. Your local community college may have a refresher course

It should not be an issue. Go for it. Get a tech job in one to get your foot in the door
