Okay, it's HIPAA, not HIPPA. And, it's JCAHO, not JACHO. And, another one that's been getting to me lately: it's spelled "definitely", not "definately".
Thanks for listenting. Okay. Much better now...

"Where are you at" & various other variations.
A preposition is something that you should never end a sentance with.

OHMYGOSH!!! I've been spelling it "DEFINATELY" for a longtime!!! hahaha...GUILTY!!!

Yes. I'm "DEFINATELY" guilty! Oh no!!!!
But, I do make an effort to correct my typos.
I also like to start sentences with conjunctions. I do not think that it is grammatically (I checked the spelling!) correct, but I do it all the time. Sister Mary Miserable would have made me stay after class.

Let's not forget "your" and "you're"...
One of my friends consistently writes something like "Glad to hear your doing well." It's not caught by spellcheck, of course. And when he writes in longhand, he spells it the same way.
And speaking of "prolly"... the first time I read that was on allnurses. I remember thinking at the time that the poor thing thought that was how the word was spelled, because that's generally how it's pronounced. I had no idea it was a cyber-shortcut!

On our nursery flowsheet, there is a box to check if they baby has "Mongoliam spots." I have pointed this out numerous times but nothing has been done so far. Drives me bonkers every time I see it.
I can forgive someone if they are not a native English speaker, just as my husband overlooks the many errors I have made in speaking his language. But someone who has lived here their entire life??
My current peeve is when someone says "I'm looking a pencil" as opposed to "I'm looking for a pencil." Grrrrr.
