Thank you! My goal is to be an ER/Trauma nurse. My residency will be in critical care. Once I have 2 years in critical care, I can then transition in to the ER fellowship program at the hospital. I'm very excited. My last semester, I had clinicals on the critical care unit where I'll be doing my nurse residency. I *loved* the nurses on that unit. They're a great team :)

Congrats on passing the NCLEX and for already having secured a job! Just remember the learning curb from student to RN can be very steep, so be kind to yourself.

Welcome to the delegating side of the force!

Congratulations! I recently graduated too I am in an emergency/trauma new graduate residency. It's an accomplishment being able to leave the student forums & contribute to the nurse forums

How exciting! I wish the hospital had a program for new grads in the ER. Since they're a level 1 trauma center, they require 2 years in critical care, plus an ER fellowship first. I'd love to start in the ER. I did a rotation in the ER and I just knew that's where I want to be. I loved every minute of it.

FYI, the OP has been a member for three years, but mainly posted in the student forums. Now that she's graduated, she's introducing herself to the forums for those of us who are already licensed nurses. :)
