If you fail a nursing course twice...

and are academically dismissed from the nursing program. After how many years does the "dismissal" or "ban" from reapplying finally go away and you are able to apply again?

Depends on the school. Sometimes it's a lifetime ban others is 5-7-10 years.

Before spending more money on repeating/reenrolling do some serious self reflection as to why you failed a course twice.....

You get two shots at the school I attended. If you drop out or fail once you could go back. But after that your done for life.

If you failed why would you go back to the same school?

The OP hasn't yet applied to nursing school....but is asking a lot of premature questions.

Make a list of your questions and discuss them with a school counselor.

The main part of a nurse's day includes the ability to plan, make a decision, and be incisive.
