    BSN
    BC, Canada
    Job title: RN
    Less then 1 year exp.
I make around 30/hr + benefits, more for shift dif, plus lots of opportunity for OT. In BC your wage increases with each year exp, if you have a degree, and/or if you have specialty certifications.
Per year anywhere from 60-75, depending on OT
What I like about my job: paid schooling if I want to obtain specialty certificates (not just tuition but time also), I also like my field and co workers.
What I dislike about my job: gossipy people, sometimes people (staff and family) will lie/dramatize situations, I hate drama but I think any job has that.

I have a BSN; work in upstate NY. Did home care and made 60,000 the last year. I would not do it again, very demanding. I am a school nurse and make a pitance..... but it is worth it. My children are grown, hubby works FT.

    2. What state do you live in? southern California

    5. How much do you make a year? almost 80,000
    6. What do you like about your job? The fact that I learn something new everyday. When a patient gets better that we all had little hope for, but prayed anyway. The amount of knowledge and chances to grow. The teamwork. I could go on and on, I love my new hospital! There are rough days, but honestly, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
    7. What don't you like about your job? Not too many things, the sad days where we can't save a patient. The (rare) nurses who don't seem to like their job and take it out on other people. But I would encounter that negativity anywhere in the nursing field, and it's pretty small portion at my current job.

I like of be a nurse that you have multiples choices of growth and you can be whaterver you want doing something that you love.
I dont like floating, and all the lazy and heartless people that dont see that this person in the bed can be her mother.
