Check this article out in fortune mag about resistant strep in hospitals. Are you all aware of the extent of this?

Rather eye-opening isn't it? more important than ever to wash those hands before and after all patient contact, isn't it?

Scary, yes, but I for one am glad to see this information getting more coverage in the mainstream press.
We folks in healthcare haven't been very successful in handling this problem, so maybe with pressure from people who read "Fortune" there will be more incentive to do so.
(And we can start by flat-out REFUSING to prescribe antibiotics when they are not clearly indicated, you docs, dentists, PAs and NPs out there.)
