I...I...what!?! That's the weirdest thing I've ever heard. I know someone is going to follow this advice and it's going be a nightmare. Sorry ahead of time for any emergency services personnel who will witness this.

I look at things like this as a good means to clear some detritus from the gene pool.

Because causing someone lots of pain to reduce their blood volume by 12 drops (sewing needles, what fun!) will DEFINITELY lower their blood pressure during a stroke.

Well, at least now when some poor person presents at the ED with all ten fingers and both ears bleeding you'll know why. Sadly if they bring the person to the ED fast enough and the stroke protocol then works these dingbats will take all the credit and insist their "treatment" is what saved them.

Yep, as a cousin of mine says, "You! Outta the gene pool!".

Besides being crazy and wrong, the 'advice' seems to be aimed only at hemorraghic stroke, which we all know is only a small percentage of strokes. Now, for ischemic stroke, I recommend injecting just 1 mL of Liquid Plumber into the brain.

Now that's too extreme. All it takes is a little vinegar to clear the pipes.
