Cost per credit hour

I'm a BSN student. My college charges $275 per credit hour. I was wondering, if that is too high for a BSN program? How much does your college charge?:uhoh21:

My favorite is when the school comes up with the contact hour scheme. The class is 8 credit hours but 11 contact hours and they charge you by the contact hour. :angryfire

I don't think it's high at all. I wish my school was only charging that. My BSN is costing me alot of money

My entire nursing school cost was about 12 thousand, back in the 70's. (11) quarters. Keep in mind that included books and room and board. We took classes from Central Sate University. (chem, bio, psych, etc) and the nursing courses were at the hospital but they were taught by masters and BSN prepared nurses.

I don't think that's bad at all. My university recently raised tuition rates for in-state students to $5500 a year. That comes out to ~$230 per credit hour. This isn't including the extra fees for the nursing courses.

There's a BSN program at a local state university, located about 75 miles from my home, that charges $50 per credit hour for people who have established residency in Texas.
