Are you allowed to wear Makeup ?

I personally cannot live without makeup.I feel plain and unkept without makeup.It's apart of me.It makes me feel feminine.Will I be able to continue wearing makeup up on the job?

I can wear it, but most of the time it gets rubbed off. LOL so why bother.:lol2:

Went to school with a girl who would have put Tammy Faye to shame. Instructors told her to tone it down, but instead she died her hair jet black (she was a VERY pale blonde). She thought it would make the make-up less noticeable :stone

But yeah, you're allowed to wear make-up :)

I too have to have some makeup on. Mascara, a bit of foundation on my nose, lip gloss.

Just don't overdo it - "Tammy Fay" is alive and well, unfortunately.:nono:

I meant the Tammy Faye look . . that is why I put her name in quotes.

When I worked 3 a.m. to 3 p.m. I got up at 0145 and took a shower, dried my hair and put makeup on. I can't wake up w/o a shower.

School: whatever we want.

Clinical: As long as it's understated (i.e., no Tammy Faye eyes), they allow it. Besides, mascara and eyeliner don't hold up well during shift anyway :)
