Published

I personally cannot live without makeup.I feel plain and unkept without makeup. It's apart of me.It makes me feel feminine. Will I be able to continue wearing makeup up on the job?

You know, I just cant find the right makeup for me

And when you consider I only shave every third day, you know

I heard Tiger Woods is coming out with a new line of golfer's makeup called Cream de la Green..... Maybe they will have your "shade" Tom...

Although I am just in school, we are not allowed to wear ANY makeup except chapstick (someone somewhere thinks this is makeup:uhoh3:), no perfume/cologne/scented deodorant, no odorous hairspray, no fake nails, no loud colors allowed on nails, no colors except natural colors allowed in hair. Hair MUST be off shoulder and out of face, even for guys. Guys have to have a clean shave or well-trimmed beards/goatee.

Other than that....we can do what we want....LOL.

OH for the days I can wear even pink lip gloss....sigh

When you say make-up, are you talking lipstick and mascara, stuff like that? Or does that include foundation? Everything else I agree with...the perfume, the nails, even the hair. From what I have heard, that is pretty standard (at least the schools around here).

May I ask where you go to school? I understand not wearing too much make-up, looking natural and professional, but c'mon!! That is going too far!

Keiser University in Florida. There are several of them throughout the US and overseas. They are a private university. They have very strict guidelines regarding clothing even in our pre reqs (only business attire, no jeans, guys wear ties, girls wear dress clothes). That is the price we pay, so to speak, to go to private universities. LOL, at least my perfume and makeup expenses have gone down, I LOVE perfumes. I don't mind it too much really. I am growing quite fond of the 4 flavors of Chapstick.
