    I always wondered if nurses did the things nurse Jackie does on her show? The narcotics is a bit far fetched, but the sex seems more plausible.

    I'm pretty sure the producers/directors actually are nurses! I saw an interview and they said they wanted to make the show because ALL the hospital shows were about doctors, and they wanted one centered around nurses.

    Knew a nurse who lost her license because she was taking morphine and replacing it with just regular fluids. It completely destroyed her life and family. So sad..
