LAC+USC interview new grad RN

U.S.A. California

Hey guys, I have a question. I had an interview with LAC+USC and received a letter that I passed the oral exam. I read in the letter that they are going to contact me if positions open up. I am a new grad RN. Have you been in my situation? How long does it take until they call you? Do we have another interview after the oral interview or this is it? Please share your experience with me..thank you

Oohhh thanks for the tip Nurse Jaydee! Will def research that! I'll be interviewing for med-surg pre-op clinic! Thanks for the tips again!

Sounds like a great unit to work for! You can also search nursing interview questions on Allnurses. :)

Oh another question, was it a panel interview? Or just the manager?

When I did the M/S interview, there were 2 interviewers. They are really nice tho!

Goodluck guys on your interview.

Thanks ladies! I wish you well on your careers too! Seems like they're opening more positions! :yeah:

Hi, I'm just joining this thread, thanks to all for keeping the rest of us informed. My initial interview is set for November 29th. I graduated last December, but have been keeping my skills up by volunteering at a weekly free clinic in Glendale - this free clinic is really good about "working" with new grad RNs. (This is my 2nd career, and the 1st career has slowed down the hiring process for me; hope that won't be the case with LAC+USC.)

Good luck on your interview! You'll do great! Welcome to Allnurses :)

Thanks for the positive words.

Anyone else out there get hired onto SICU?

Would love peds, but it's ortho for me. Good luck to everyone!!! Btw I don't have much experience either, so good to know I'm not the only nervous one
