hi

i recently wrote my nclex-rn,i studied Saunders 4th edition book word by word, but i think its all about questions, specially in a particular style to master that ,you should and must do above 6000 questions, that's my opinion which i felt after my exam, good luck

When you ask for advice, everyone will pop in with what worked for THEM. For many nurses on here, practicing questions was the most helpful, but keep in mind that was what worked for THEM.

You have to find a method that is right for YOU. So, if you practiced questions to death last time, that didn't work, so doing more questions probably wont help this time either.

I really encourage you to think hard about your previous experience. When you were taking the boards before, what were you thinking about the questions? Were you unsure of what the question was ASKING or were you unsure of the rationale in choosing what was most important for the patient? Did you find yourself struggling with alternate format questions or math?

After an unsuccessful attempt, your self-confidence is shattered, and its very SOOTHING to you to study stuff you already know well. This is a little therapeutic as it build your confidence some, but it will not help you pass. Determine what SCARES *you*, and learn that backwards and forwards.
