Are you young and a nurse, or know someone who is young and a nurse many more people are going into nursing at younger ages. share your experiences!
Glad to see there are other young nurses out there! Congrats to all of you that have passed your boards, its a great experience. I'm right there with you, I'm 19 and passed my boards two weeks ago (that was the longest 48 hours I've ever spent!!). Anyways, good luck with everything you choose to do in life, and may God bless you.
Hi, I'm a new grad and I'm 21 & I was the 2nd youngest student in my class. I graduated in march and I will be taking nclex in 2 days and I'm very nervous to say the least! I'm currently working in LTC and never had medical experience before school and I'm doing what God called me to do and I don't see myself doing anything else!

Amen, sista, I believe this is God's calling for me too!, glad to see you enjoy your profession, keep up the good work. from one nurse to another!
I'm a 22 year old nurse who graduated on July 15th, 2010 (two days after my birthday). Being a young nurse is difficult. I have the advantage of being heavy-set which makes my age seem older than the reality. However, since my bosses know my age, I often feel like they look down on my inexperience.
The best part of my job is the residents. :heartbeat
