My prayers are with you. My niece just had one removed. She is 10 years old. She came through the surgery well and is doing therapy to regain strength on her left side. We have not found out yet whether it is over or not. I hope and pray for your family and our that both of theirs are benign. My thoughts are with you. If you want to you can PM me anytime.

Don't forget to ask for help. People always say if there is anything I can do please let me know....... Time is always a big problem but if they could cook a dinner... I knew a lady once that her best friend just assigned us chores, dinners, errrands and we did them, we felt useful and were providing a great service to our friend.

What a difficult situation. wish your family all the best and lots of strength for you.

I know only one person who had 2 tumors and has been living a normal life for the last 2 years. She had to have chemo and radiation, but she really made it like trooper.

Your husband is young, I think he will do well.

as far as your kids..

Maybe it sounds stupid, but I have actually benefited from being traumatized from early childhood with various things including sickness and death. I don't know if my best qualities would be present if I did not learn about what human suffering is early on.

Of course, it is best not to go through what I went through, but kids are resilient and very smart. Just talk to your kids, and remember that u can not alway be strong and falling apart some days is just human.

You teach them how to laugh and how to be happy, I think kids also need to know how to deal with fear and sadness, because sometimes the hard times do not wait for us to grow up.

good luck!!

I have no words except to let you know that I will be praying for you and your family. Cancer is such a nasty word I have lost both my parents to it and my brother had Non-Hodkins lymphoma so I know how you are feeling. I will pray for good news and a complete recovery for your husband.

Oh I am so sorry this is happening to your family. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers. I don't have any words of wisdom except come here any time you need to talk. We care.

Have a friend who had been c/o of ha, not severe, just annoying. One day a MRI tech noticed a droopy eye. Talked him

into getting one, next week was having surgery. Now several years, is doing well, back to work, Did have a spell of double vision afterwards and this has resolved.

Kepping good thoughts and prayers going your way...
