Yale GEPN 2023

Published

Hello everyone! This thread is for folks applying to Yale's GEPN program for the fall 2023 start.

Feel free to introduce yourself, ask questions and offer guidance and support to other candidates. Please be respectful and kind and remember that this is a long, exhausting, expensive, stressful journey for lots of people. Let's do our best to uplift and help each other. Good luck!

This is the GEPN program, so RNs will probably be on a different thread.

darn maybe it’s just me haha I can’t find a thread

I wonder what's going on, it's odd because in previous years both interview invites and rejections were released at the same time...

Specializes in Hopeful future nurse.

My guess is only certain specialties came out. I applied for PMHNP and seems like no one received an interview/rejection for it.

I applied for PMHNP and got an interview. Super nervous. Wishing everyone good luck!

did you get your notification yesterday or today?

It's pretty common for schools to release invites by specialty. However this year all my clients seemed to get their Yale invites at the same time, across all specialities. (This applies to GEPN and MSN programs.) Haven't been notified of any rejections yet. I'll keep you posted if I hear anything helpful. Good luck, everyone!!

did all of your clients hear back yesterday?

Yes, but here's one client I haven't heard back from yet. I hope you all hear back soon and get the chance to relax over the holiday break.

Has everyone heard back at this point?

This is the question for FNP Fall 2023 applicants... Do you happen to know how many people they're accepting per cohort?  After the interview, how soon do we find out the decisions?
