Hi all!
I didn't see a Yale GEPN 2016 thread, so I thought it would be good to start one! Does anyone know the average GPA and GRE score for the 2015 entering class?
Good luck to everyone interviewing!! It seems like my Feb 4 interview is so so far away....but I'm sure it'll be here in a flash. I just posted this in the UCSF MEPN thread but figured you guys should see it too! I found this awesome TEDTalk about "power posing," and it is definitely worth a watch. It's completely empowering and all-around awesome, especially before we all face those nerve-wracking interviews.
Hey all!
Been follwoing this message board for a while but have not commented yet:) I was just wondering if anyone who interviewed today could give us any insight into what to expect. What kind of questions did they ask? I have my interview tomorrow! Have not thought much about it until now and am getting nervous!
Cheers!
Hi! I've lurked on this thread a while, but first time posting. I'm a GEPN PMHNP applicant from the left coast. As we're waiting, I thought it'd be a good idea to compare costs (assuming no financial aid) between schools, and I'm wondering whether anyone has any info on what the total cost would be to attend YSN as a GEPN?
According to their website (http://nursing.yale.edu/tuition-special-fees-and-costs) it looks like $18,414 per semester for GEPN & Masters + summer semester GEPN = $14,642. So it looks like six semesters total at $18,414 plus one at $14,642 for a total of: $106,712.
That's comparable with UCSF and way cheaper than Columbia or Penn. Am I right about this? I think there are always fees on top of this, but I don't know what to expect. Any current students able to fill me in on additional costs (specific to the program, not housing/costs of living).
Besos,
Monica

Has anyone gotten any updates on the financial aid applications due February 1st?
