WSSU 2019 ABSN!!!

Hello there,

I was wondering if anyone is planning on applying to the WSSU ABSN for the Spring 2019 cohort? If so, I would love to hear where everyone is from. If accepted, I plan on relocating from Massachusetts. From reading previous years' threads the program is pretty competitive so good luck to everyone!

We didn't apply to the university until after we got our decision because they didn't want us to waste $50 for the application fee if we didn't get in. Also, once accepted into the program--you apply to the school, but i wouldn't stress it. Most of us didn't get accepted to the school until like December lol.

My advice is to just keep enjoying your life and having fun until it is decision time. Because if you are let into this program, you will not have a life lol.

Hey y'all, I have also applied to WSSU's ABSN program. I just spoke to someone in the Nursing office and they mentioned that we would hear back through email after their fall break (October 8th.) Good luck everyone!

According to the WSSU.edu the students fall break is Oct. 8-9. So maybe we will hear something by the end of this week or really soon there after!

So I just called the nursing department and apparently they've gotten more applications this year than any other year so it might be towards the end of October when we find out. They are taking 60 students.
