Make sure you check your spam messages just to make sure. If you haven't heard anything at least by tomorrow. I would call or email Ms Leak to make sure something didn't get transposed with emails. It happened with a couple of folks in our program last year. Congrats to all who have been accepted, for those who didn't. don't allow it to deter your dreams of becoming a nurse. I didn't get in my first time I applied. I did the work and took care of what I was told kept me from getting in the program and studied to get what I needed to get in order to be accepted. If WSSU is your first choice do what it takes and reapply(I placed all my eggs in one basket the first time around). Also it doesn't matter the route you take to become a nurse. I've worked with LPNs who have been more knowledgable than RNs I know. I know ADN's who are just as amazing as BSN's at their jobs. If you have other options good luck to you in those respective programs as well. Some of my study group members are in theirs early 20s it’s okay! You learn to go with what works for you! The amazing throng is we all get along and have fun together. When it’s time to be serious we are no matter how old or young we are! It really a beautiful things we love our male cohorts all though it’s only 4 of them but we’re one big family of friends.

Last year we heard on 10/24 just after 10am. I had worked the night before, went to sleep and had missed calls and woke up to buzzing on my phone ?

I was out is school for 12 years. I began the program at 36, turned 37 in March and will be 38 when we finish. We has a young lady in her 40s and early 50s! Age doesn’t matter as long as your accomplishing your goals and what you set to do!

You will need to have your MD fill out a form you will get at orientation about shots and they will need to sign it and you will need to upload additional items into this program as well such as flu shot and TB test

@shyannekendra the GPA requirements are the exact same. Minimum of 2.6 GPA, however if those prerequisite grades are looking great, the better your chances are of getting in as long as you meet all other qualifications. I will tell you that more students are accepted in the traditional track (not saying it's any less stressful) but I that alone increases your chances of getting in.

Same my overall was a 2.8 and my prereqs were 3.6. I hope there wasn't too much judging going on from my undergrad GPA I was playing around and having fun in school. LOLI grew up and I got my act together for my Masters program and certainly for this program hardly no time for fun!

Also when you guys get notifications. Someone create a facebook group (that is private) and allow the N19's to join so we can keep you abreast of what we are selling so you can purchase from us, and we give input of what you may or may not need for classes. Resources that have proven to be helpful for us and whatnot. It's what the previous class did with us!

I agree with @Ashlee Clark let me know if you need anything! Make this experience yours, however know that you can't do nursing school alone and you need a good study group and a great group of cohort PALS to share a drink, lunch, or complaints with from time to time (more than a little bit).

I swear I remember being right where you guys are now...., tossing and turning in my sleep and just anxious. Now I can't wait to be done with all of this! Im sure many of you will experience this same feeling once you're accepted! Can't wait to potentially meet some of you in the coming months and good luck to all! Hey there I’m in the N19 class although we didn’t have to submit online we could mail or physical deliver out packets last year, I printed mine off and placed my scores with my application packet

Hey guys the responses that you are referring to sound like they from the university. With the nursing department decisions you should get an email from -------------------------- to whatever email you placed on your applications. Those should come in October unless they told you something different. In classes prior to ours they received notifications around the 3rd week in October Im not sure why last year they waited until the 4th week (10/24). I would start getting email jitters around that time! Preserve your nerves, you'll need them ?

I'm not sure if the deadline for the applications have closed at this point. That is a mistake another young lady made last year and she didn't get in as a result. If the deadline isn't over for submission I would attach them to however the method was for you all to apply. If you still have time to submit I hope you are able to correct this matter. Good Luck
