Hey friends!
Has anyone heard when we hear back about acceptance/rejection into the program?!
Hope to see y'all in January!

Once you get accepted, you'll have to join a website called "MedPass Plus" if they're still using it. I know they've had some problems with it this year. Basically, you'll need a full physical with urine/blood/titer/Tb tests. You'll need to be up to date on all of your immunizations. I had to get a titer done to show I had chicken pox (which I didn't) so I had to get the Varicella vaccine. The acceptance letter will sort of map out exactly what you'll need to do.
You'll find out in mid-October

Has anyone been able to get in touch with anyone from the absn program. No one ever picks up when I call. I graduated HS in 2003 and they don't have records of my SAT scores and I'm still waiting to hear back from the college board if they could access my score. It's frustrating when I can't get in touch with anyone and they never think to call me back after leaving them so many voice mails. I might need to drive down to WinstonSalem and have a talk with them.

so after sending in everything for the first step, are we supposed to hear back to complete the second step? I haven't heard anything.

Hey! I'm currently in the ABSN program. Once the application has been submitted, the next time you will hear back will be in mid October. If you have been accepted at that time you will go ahead and get your immunization paperwork together, apply to the university etc.

Hey guys, it is getting close to the middle of October and I wanted to see how all of you are doing. I'm anxious to hear back from WSSU soon!

I'm extremely nervous and ready to hear something. This waiting isn't fun! How is everyone else doing? Do you think the letters will be mailed on the 15th, which is a Saturday, or arrive that day?
Are they going to email us or mail us a letter? In previous threads I think they were emailed around the 15th or 16th.
Oh I haven't heard that but it makes sense with how many people apply.

Hey!
So I just got an email from admissions saying that we need to apply to the university to be able to be considered for the ABSN program...On the application it clearly states that we should wait to apply to the university until after we hear if we are accepted into the ABSN program correct?
The deadline is not until Nov 4th, so I would think it would still make sense to wait but I'm scared that will disqualify me from the ABSN program is I don't also apply to the university.
Has anyone else heard this as well?
That's confusing. I agree that the application to the program made it clear to apply after being accepted into the program. Otherwise why waste $50 applying to the school if you aren't accepted?
