Wrote NCLEX today, 265 questions

Published

I wrote the NCLEX today and am freaking out. All of my class is passing and finishing in 75. I went all the way to 265 questions today. I'm just very nervous and looking for some reassurance although I know I can't get much. I'm just scared because I was told that is doesn't matte wether or not you answer the last question right or wrong it depends if it was passing of failing level. I got a lot of SATA and I'm just freaking out now until I get my results. Unfortunately I live in Canada and can't do the quick results.

I was just wondering if I do fail if anyone has any tips on taking the test a second time? What to do differently and how long I should wait to rebook?

If it turns out that you did indeed fail, you will receive a Candidate Performance Report. That document will provide you with what areas were below, near, or above passing standard. Primary focus should go to those areas below passing, secondary focus to those near, and a brief review of those above. More info about the CPR can be found on NCSBN's website.

You literally have no idea if he failed or not, alot of people passed in 265, i did, best of luck.

This same thing happened to me. I took the NCLEX yesterday 6/15 and got all 265 questions. My last question was a SATA.. I looked up on the state board license website and my name is not on it. Praying to god it is just taking them awhile to give my name! Best of luck. I willl probably be taking NCLEX again at the end of July.

Good luck fellow new RNs, I hope you all did well on NCLEX!!!!
