Administration has been up in arms about the high number of falls that have occurred in the Psych Division of Wrongway Regional Medical Center! The fall episodes has not been limited to Patients. An RN is currently out on medical leave with a fractured ankle as the result of dealing with a combative Patient!

In order to remedy this situation, a new unit is opening up on the Psych division that will only accept certain Patients and will be staffed with specialized Professionals:

They need to sell just the can't-fall-over bases, maybe 1' tall, with holes for various foot sizes. Put 'em on patients, and voila! No falls! Of course, there is the possibility of bonking heads and/or arms against things before they straighten back up... then again, elbow pads, knee pads, helmets...

Or you could dress them each one in 2 very padded snowsuits with attached mittens a la A Christmas Story and it wouldn't matter if they fell over because they wouldn't get hurt and they couldn't get back up.

Wrongway has recently banned hand sanitizers, since mgt. read that overuse of antibiotics and a too-sterile environment was creating 'superbugs'. "We're taking the approach now that if non-MRSA bacteria spreads from patient to patient, our innovative 'mix and match bacteria' approach will give patients' bodies the chance to generate 'super-antibodies', which will fight those pesky 'superbugs' if and when they penetrate the perimeter of WRMC", said "Stoked" Stokely, immunology mgr. & sometimes fry-cook at WRMC.
