Totally didn't prove her wrong, eriksoln......:p

LOL!

I'm glad this thread got completely off track.

It's great to go from "suck it! lalalalalalalal" to "I fart in your general direction."

Actually, whether OP is guy/girl, I am convinced they have the anatomy to make such offers. It takes balls to say that on here. I wouldn't. And.............my obnoxiousness is the stuff of legend.

Then again, I don't say that in RL. I mean, seriously, what if some not so pleasant person you don't like much takes you literally?

Plus, if I said something like that......................TaumaRUs and SirI would be on me until I was :crying2:

Angioplasty would probably have me removed. HM2Viking is probably the only one who would defend me.

Over under odds here:

Over or under midnight tonight that the post and all others quoting it are removed?

I say...........eh, I am going to say................under for fifty cents.

I have had to tech on several occasions when a tech has called off sick or something. All night I would hear, "hey, can you check this insulin with me" or "would you fix that iv pump that's beeping while you are in the room". GRRRR!!! What the heck? Do they want me to tech or nurse? One night I went as far as putting a post-it-note over the RN on my badge that clearly stated CNA! LOL

You know, I think that was the first time ever I quoted myself. That was so much fun I did it again.

As a former supervisor, I can now tell you that you've probably been labeled as a spoiled brat. .

Thank you, OP, for brilliantly proving my point with your last post.

I was trying to think of a Monty Python quote to go along, but I can't. Must not have the right equipment....:coollook:

Every now and then we will have an RN fill in as our CNA if we are short aides in the house. Would I mind working as an aide? Heck no, it's alot easier to say I'll tell your nurse than to have to listen to whiny pts all night. Just because I'm a nurse now doesn't mean I'm above doing patient care. There are times we do not have an aide at all, and the nurses do everything. I appreciate our aides very much and ALWAYS thank them before I leave in the morning.

To the OP, I would be careful, being a difficult employee (which you're probably known as now), will follow you through your career in that facility. It might be a wise idea IMHO to apologize to that CN.

Obviously the OP is someone who is immature, selfish, and rude with the comments that he/she posted. Nurses who act this way don't really succeed and make it big. So I pity the OP. Maybe he/she also has some inferiority complex so it's very essential to him/her to feel important and big-time all the time and not just give out meal trays to patients or run down specimens to the lab. :jester:

so I chesked with my manager and director. Turns out there is a policy on floating and I was spot on. If a nurse wants to work as a tech all is good, but if they do not they do not have to. The step down was way wrong in trying to assign me as a tech....I was floated as as nurse period,

For all those evil female nurses who had nasty things to say about my stance - you were wrong! so suck it! lalalalalalalal

This thread took a total nosedive with the introduction of some crude and unnecessary sentiments. Normally, we would remove the problem parts, but so many quoted the objectionable section (and a few added their own retorts) that it would take more staff time than the thread merits to clean it up.

Therefore, it will remain closed.

Please remember to report report.gif Report rather than retort. Thank you.
