just curious to know if it would be a problem for a male nurse to marry a doctor..I personally wouldn't have a problem with it..voice your opinion
That was probably what he meant by "live on my nursing income".
No.... he meant live on his salary to invest her salary in order to allow for retirement by 40...
Why do you guys concentrate on that 300K of loans she owes. Who cares if she does, she can pay that off in a couple of years tops with her salary.Plus in Arizona where I live, med school is not 300K, it is more like half of that.
4yrs undergrad + 4 years med school + 3 year residency making jack squat + 1-3 year fellowship making jack squat = a LOT of money owed.
She'd have to make some pretty sick money to pay off $300k worth of loans "in a couple of years" what with how Uncle Sam tends to take most of our money these days.
Obviously if you love the woman, marry her. We're just being facetious here....
Assuming: A $300,000 paying off a stafford loan at 6% for 30 years? That's around $1,700 give or take monthly. RN income in the Bay Area is higher than that of other states. I'm pretty sure we can manage. Damn, I just spent 3 minutes calculating this for no reason. How many female MD's are out there? LMAO!
