JUZ heard some news that a group of students esp those who failed the exam are planning to protest at PRC because of the recent controversial NLE exam.. (LEAKAGE thingy), the said students want the oathtaking to be cancelled because of the irregularities in the said exam..

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO US WHO LEGITIMATELY PASSED the BOARD!!!

today is august 9. still got 6 days to go til the BON and different deans would have a talk about it. let's just wait and see... and pray hard. LOL.

i really hope there wouldn't be a retake. it's just so stressful...

any1 here seen the news tonyt? that the prc dont see any reason to have a retake. basically true. retake.. what for? so there'll be a bigger chance for another leakage? its silly how people label the passers as "incompetent" and those hu dint make it as "competent". hows that possible?! if ever there will be a retake, there's hell to pay!:angryfire ive burnt midnyt candles to pass and help out my family, not to be caught in the middle of those corrupt people!! theyv been hearing the "failed" sides.. how about our sides?!

weve sacrificed enuf, spent enuf, cried enuf, waited enuf.. i cant take another sets of these tortures. we, passers, i believe, have much more ryts than those pathetic losers hu just cant simple go to the prc to file for the decmber boards. theyv been narrowminded way too far already. thinking only about themselves. WHY DID WE MAKE IT? WHY DINT THEY MAKE IT?? there are only 2 types of groups at the end of every battle.. the unfortunates, and the fortunates. we belong to the latter, but why are they dragging us to be on their group? GOD BLESS THEM!

not all passers passed because they cheated.. why? simply because the leaked questions were invalidated, there's no reason for them (those wd leakages) to have an edge over the others. if they (retake fans) still couldnt get it, i dunno what's wrong wd them.

lets just pray for those who are trying 2 stop da oahtaking bec der skul s not on top and dat der r no boardopnatchers on dat skul and dat dey wil accept da defeat and move on. ..stop dat issue! i gues dat leakage wil not help in passing da board coz u stil need to have 75% to pas . . .and by da way i passed bec i did my part, my sacrifices and most of ol wid the help of God!!! i hope dis oathtaking on aug 22 wil pursue so ol of us can move on, we ol nid a job for r family nd for r future..

I passed too.

It is not fair to collectively punish the board passers.

Those who question my integrity as a board passer try me. I passed, they even omitted my favorite subject which is NPV.

Don't listen to the news of ABS-CBN because it is biased.

I've come in contact with the proponents of the retake. They have a forum right now, 1 pm at UST Auditorium. They said that we are incompetent. How so? Because their cum laude did not pass? Maybe he just over analyzed the question. A major flaw to those super intelligent people. The UST faculty and administration are in support to their students who failed. Why so? Maybe because they got only 83% and thus hurt their pride. Now, all their ramblings went to the congress and they demand a retake. How unfair.

If there is a retake, when will it be held? Can you build up your focus? I'll post my blog here so all of you can have a picture of what is on my mind.

To us who passed cleanly, we are pushed by those who say they are fighting for "justice and integrity". They did not even think that not all who passed cheated. They did not even think that we have our family to feed. All they can think is themselves, taking the retake exam, with us who passed, with them. That is unfair. Period.

We need someone to rally us and fight.

for some (for the sake of justice and fairness) re-take is the IDEAL solution. But IDEALS must come FACE TO FACE with reality. Finer points.

1. To those who honestly took the exam, who did not cheated, IT WILL BE UNFAIR TO THEM that they will be affected on the said retake. If anyone deserves the retake, it should be the cheaters. It should be UNFAIR or FAIR to the UNFAIR. But to those who took it cleanly, RETAKE is not an option. The option is the result. If I failed, then I'll retake it.

2. The RETAKE exam will be harder than the previous one. Although we have an idea on the type of test and questions, it is not enough reason to take the retake happily. And because of the pretext of cheating, the next exam will definitely be harder. Sasabihin ng nag pa exam "lintek kayo cheaters ha, tignan ko kung pumasa kayo sa next". Damay pa ang mga di nag cheat. And dahil sa retake, it seems that we all cheated because of the generalized punsihment. Second, the cheaters will have another lease of life. They will also be given the second chance. They should be given the second chance but not us.

3. The focus that you build up 2 months before the exam cannot be returned. First, because we are now in the waiting-for-the-result stage. We are finished in the game-na-ako-sa-exam stage. Hey, can you return the same vitality when you took it last June to the retake exam. Hell no. It's like saying bagsak ako sa una. And wala na rin akong gana na magtake na board kasi lahat ng di prevalent nandun.

The solution is let's rally, honest test takers, against the retake. Mag retake ka pag bagsak ka. E kung pasa ka? Retake ka pa ba? E kung bagsak ka sa retake, pano na? Even my parents are against the retake. Let's unite on this one guys.

I was aghast and happy at the same time BECAUSE of the same same

material that is circling around us. What goes around comes around.

And even for our beloved deans, fellow registered nurses, and

students of UST, UP, and other schools, they don't seem to fathom the

point.

They say retake is the way... but my mind says not. Why?

Because it is the same old system that we are using. The same corrupt

system. There has always been a leakage and it's being done in a hush

hush manner. It's not old news, neither it is history. It just so

happen that this year it just exploded right in our faces.

The ones who are clamoring for the retake SHOULD for the sake of

JUSTICE and INTEGRITY of the PROFESSION which is the NURSING

PROFESSION address not only the present but also the future

BECAUSE the SYSTEM is IN PLACE. And if they are just addressing

JUSTICE AND INTEGRITY THIS YEAR AND WILL NOT THINK ABOUT SOLUTIONS FOR

THE FUTURE, they are just sourgraping.

Frankly, I'll go for the retake. IF ONLY THEY WILL PINPOINT AND

APPREHEND THE MASTER MIND, WILL REVISE THE CORRUPTED SYSTEM, AND FIX

THE SHI**Y VALUE-LADEN, OPINION BASED EXAM TO A TRULY COMPETENCY

BASED EXAM. And if the said forum addressed that, with all the brains

of our nursing leadears, alumni and professors of nursing schools,

then WE WILL GET RID OF THIS PROBLEM FOREVER.

But if you don't have the said solution, your thinking for the short

term, then let them take the december exam.

hello,

me reaction about the recent leakages is that....

first, remove the bon, especially the chairwoman, because she was not able to protect the nursing profession.

secondly, if i'm a examinee (passed/failed) i will not retake. why? who are you to said that in just a snap?! after you are paid by the review centers thousands of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$?pppppppppppppppppppp? you will make us retake?

face the reality, there is money involved with that irregularities!!!!!!!!

Releasing exam results and not allowing the passers to take the oath is like asking a dog to lick some dog food but not actually bite or eat it! Although I am not part of the people who took the exams, I believe that people who passed should be allowed to have an oath-taking except of course if there is a hard evidence against them that they were actually linked to the "leakage" in the recently concluded nursing board exams. In which case, they should be scrutinized, and held liable for their misdeeds.

Hello fellow board passers :p.

I don't want a retake. I don't know why people keep reminding us that if the PRC didn't remove the leakage questions of test 3 and 5, there is a big possibility that alot would have passed the exams? Why do you even want to PLAY THE WHAT IF GAME. Face it, the PRC removed the leakage questions as to be fair to everyone. Before the results were released, everyone was complaining of the leakage questions. The PRC decided to remove all of those pertaining to the leakage, hence cleaning the exam already of any anomalies.

Besides the June 2006 board exam is not A PRETEST. Its not a sample of the board exam. If its a chess game, there is a so called TOUCH MOVE. For those who failed, the next move would be to take the DECEMBER board exam. Let go of your pride, you failed but its not the end of the world. We hope you guys will pass the december exam.
