JUZ heard some news that a group of students esp those who failed the exam are planning to protest at PRC because of the recent controversial NLE exam.. (LEAKAGE thingy), the said students want the oathtaking to be cancelled because of the irregularities in the said exam..
WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO US WHO LEGITIMATELY PASSED the BOARD!!!

actually having a retake is a good option. it will imply that the institution is doing something when things like this happen. well, in my opinion.. why freak out?!.. if you know your capabilities.. that whatever question asked to you, no matter how many there are, or how many times you take it.. if you really deserve to pass you will...
so dont freak out and dont call failed examinees "bitter"... it's not a good attitude of a nurse...
yeah, exactly what is the rantings & jitters all about???... if you intend to work in US (and I assume everyone does), the 'local boards' is not even a requirement!!!...
we know 2 people who graduated last march, went to US and applied direct in a hospital (they didn't take the nle! lucky & wise decision for them)... but they passed the N-CLEX!... they left for US this month on immigrant's visa (whole family)...one we knew, didn't make it in 2005 nle... but, also passed the N-CLEX! she's now working in US & earning dollars...
my point is, if they want to question the credibility of the entire 2006 nursing batch, let us all take the N-CLEX! no prc, no (phil) bon, and no leakage there... let the N-CLEX decide our fate... :angryfire
the few 'elitist nursing deans' have no rights to questions the integrity & quality of the whole 2006 nursing graduates... that is very judgemental coming from people who are suppose to support the recent nursing grads... after all, some of these grads were taught by them... clowns! :biggringi

can you give us any tips re nclex...first thing we do, review, any good bookd or reviewer you can suggest. i also plan to take nclex right after graduation and forget about local board. again pls tell us more tips on passing nclex.....more power and thanks in advance.....

hi kathykaye . :welcome: . yeah ur ryt its not a gud attitude bec i never offended others. ..u just mis understood evrything . . . .1st of all i never said anything abt failed examinees coz i understand der situation . .hope u read carefully wats in da message . . im refering 2 da news last aug 8 and it has nothing 2 do wid failed examinees bec i never wanted 2 offed dem coz i know der ctuation . .n fact i cant celebrate coz most of my frens wer not dat lucky ! ! ! and im refering it 2 dose seeking not for justice but for pride bec dey wer not seeking for truth but nstead dey wer not among da topnatcher!!!! i suggest u watch dat news last tue . . u know wat i can even swear 2 God dat i passed bec i did my best and i passed without any leakage!! im not dat intelligent and 100% sure dat i can make it agen . . dats y im not for retake . ..i gues we hav r own opinion...but please understand evrything first b4 freaking out!!!

i dont think many of us boardpassers are thinking the same thing. i for one, am not sure if i will pass the retake if ever there will be any. imagine the pressure and anxiety you will be feeling.
well, its 3 days to go til aug 15. by then there will be a decision already.
i dont think we deserve another grueling moments if ever there will be a retake. it sure is an option.. but not a good one. esp if u knw w/n urself that u passed fair & square. others even claim that they wud want a retake EVEN IF ITS A WASTE OF TYM. what are u thinking, man?! weve all suffered the consequences of corrupt people, dont make the passers suffer more.. alot of damage had been done, passing did a great help.. even paid off all those tortures of waiting, dont pull us down. it will get u nowhere. we know how are system runs. dont be blind.. dont drag the innocents into hurtful things. just be glad that 17k passed though several items were invalidated. it cud have been more embarrrasing if no1 passed, proving that we really relied on those leakages.
i rceved a text message saying that there will be a meeting of those who passed the exam at the st thomas square at mcdo to plan an action regarding the aug 15 meeting.
