Worse thing for skin? What?

I have searched my book high and low! What is the worst thing skin can be exposed to? I thought that was a no brainer! Extreme temperatures of course! Or is it needle sticks? Or injury in general?

Perhaps a break in the skin from cuts, injury, trauma, or burns leading to infection. Once skin is broken, microorganisms can get inside and without prompt treatment can lead to infections. Infections can cause fever and eventually sepsis.

What exactly is the question? The worst thing would be anything that damages it through burning......like the sun.

What about some kinda extremely potent vesicant like chemo ...etc. like if it were to infiltrate or extravagate (sp)

I'm not sure what the question is asking......whether it mean chemical, natural (sun), etc

Right...this is sorta like asking "what is the worst disease to get?" The most painful? The one that makes you a social outcast? The one that killed a relative?

The answer is going to depend on the exact question, your perspective on the matter, and a variety of other subjective information.

I was thinking Leprosy.....;)

Cancer, chemical spill, Steven Johnsons syndrome, flesh eating bacteria, fake streaky tanning lotion...

That would be on the short list.

Hmmm..... my first thought was 'constant moisture'. A rather generic answer to be sure.

I'd say anything that causes the skin to breakdown - constant moisture, chemicals, extreme temperature, for example.
