What are the strengths and deficits of this organization? I've heard pros and cons lately. I do think, if there are problems, the time to address them is AFTER this crisis.

I'd love to learn information from fellow nurses.

This time line shows that the Trump admin was acting in those months you claim they were not all the while getting zero help from the Democrats in Jan (who were still busy trying to impeach him) and liberal state media who were also calling him xenophobic along with all the other names they have been calling him for 3 years now. I am sure you know that the WHO did not officially classify the coronavirus a Pandemic until March 11.

Of course we should all be talking about getting back to work and getting the country moving again and how to do that. If we don't the whole country is going to implode. This is common sense.

I am not saying that the Trump admin is perfect but if you look at the time line it is clear that they have been working hard (despite interference from some Dems and their state media)

I guess you don't watch it then, the ones who claim to be journalists (ie not commentary shows) but yet give their opinions along with fact free news.

My original response was to SummerGarden claiming that Trump had a state run media. I find it rather curious that you dont question that comment, hmm.

I think you know, or at least can figure out, what I mean, it is not that difficult.

I missed that. I am pretty sure he does not have a state run media. Feel free to pass my opinion on.

Back to my question. You seem reliable and knowledgeable- Educate me on the Democratic state run media. I just watched ABC. I prefer NBC for evening news, but live rural with an antenna, and can't get it lately.

So- was that part of it?

How does it work?

You think wrong. You should be capable of articulating exactly which journalists or media outlets you were referencing. Tell me what you mean.

I'm listening to NPR...is that liberal state radio?

To clarify, I'm interested in concise explanations of the WHO.

Have you tried Wikipedia?

In my view, recent complaints about the WHO are attempts to deflect from obvious failures within the USA. The CDC opted to create their own superior test which had an additional broad diagnostic element, rather than to accept and manufacture the basic test from the WHO. That creation failed and we have not (as a nation) recovered from that delay. The evidence simply demonstrates that Trump is again deflecting and projecting. It first started with complaints that Obama had left him a mess and incorrect tests, now Trump is blaming the WHO.

When the USA takes money from the WHO in the midst of a global pandemic it is tantamount to telling the rest of the developing world to piss off, they don't matter as much as money and pissing contests.

The political divide is certainly apparent on this thread. ?
