I just wanted to stop by the student forum to say hello to all of you and to check to see how everyone is doing. We have lots of students on our floor right now and they are all doing great. It is not easy and you will have times when you feel really stupid, but just hang in there. Us old gals need to have you guys be successful so you will be around to take care of us after we retire. Do you best, speak up when you don't understand something, get involved. When a situation comes up where you can learn something, volunteer to either to it (according to your instructor guidelines) or at least watch to see how it is done. All of us out here are here to support you and it is good that you have joint up on this site. So keep your chin up and keep going, working toward your goal. It will get easier. And one day, a little light will come on and you will say to yourself "I finally get it".

I start the first semester of nursing school in about 2 months & have been a bit nervous. Your words have certainly brought some comfort to me! Thanks a million!

Thank you so much...that is just the kind of thing I needed to hear right about now...so close to Christmas break that I think my mind wants to take a break for awhile

Thanks Diane. I have about 8 months to go and am feeling really stupid lately. I was brilliant when I started with a 3.92 GPA, but that is old news. I've been a B/C student and trying my heart out. It's been difficult I have to admit.
Thanks for having pity on us! My pharm final will include about 500 drugs.
