For travel nurses who are looking to room with other travel nurses :).
Im hoping to be in NYC or Califirnia by early July. If any travelers are heading in those directions at that time and wouldn't mind having a super cool roomate, lemme know :))

AN doesn't permit members to advertise, and I'm betting such a thread would be considered advertising. Also, would you really want to look for roommates on an anonymous website where you can't verify the identity of anyone who might be posting? Considering what one of my coworkers is going through after meeting someone online (think restraining order and moving out of the current home in fear of being harmed), I for one would not trust finding a roommate online. Surely there are other resources out there who verify and run background checks before permitting people to post roommate opportunities.
I'd rather find a roomate on AN than craigslist. We coujd exchange names, check out the persons LinkedIn, fb, etc.

Rose_Queen is correct. allnurses.com does not allow solicitation of a roommate per TOS.

I'm not sure I understand the difference between looking for a travel nurse roommate on a travel nurse forum and looking for a buddy to travel with that amounts to the same thing. Lots of posts like that in this form which I assume are replied to in private messages. Non travel nurse venues are unlikely to find fellow travelers.
Just saying. No personal stake in this but it would increase the value of this forum for many new travelers who would like company in their adventures.

Just PM other "super cool" nurses here in travel who sound like they are going to be in he same places/same agencies. Yes?
Good luck!
Not being a travel RN, I never thought about it, but I would trust AN more as well. Lots of nurses here I wouldn't mind working with/rooming with/having a glass of wine with.
